Blaming the Arctic Monkeys

Calling out the British music press for their penchant for overstatement is like shooting fish in a barrel, but this quote from an article about Pete Doherty (arrested three times in one day!) is classic:

"What's happened is that Arctic Monkeys have come along and taken all his fans away with one fell swoop," Paul Rees, the editor of Q magazine, said in an interview.
